Lots of right hand photos to practice your drawing with! Thanks to and Ghent for their help, without which this exercise wouldn't exist.
Anyone may use this exercise and the photographs in it for studies, sketching, direct and indirect reference, and finished drawings. You're free to post the resulting studies, sketches and drawings anywhere you like (a link back would be appreciated). If you can sell a drawing/painting of one of these go ahead (and congratulations).
Please do not repost the individual photos. You can find better stock elsewhere anyway. The PDF in its entirety may be archived, shared, and/or reposted but not altered.
I'm not real wild about anyone pulling the PDF apart to use the photos as stock. If you have a legitimate need for an individual photo(s) and it HAS to be one of these, note me and we'll talk about it. I will turn down requests related to horror or M-rated projects.
If you want to pull out photos to rotate/flip and draw them in different positions, go ahead. More drawing practice is the whole point of this submission.
For more hand practice, try this: Go to YouTube and type in "BDS Tactical" [ [link] ]. You'll see videos of someone demo-ing military/survival type pouches and equipment. Pause the videos at any time and fullscreen to catch nice, natural hand poses. You can even watch in HQ so it's not so fuzzy.
ack!! the dreaded monthly flea treatment! my cats hate it and hide underneath the beds...which wouldn't be so bad, if "hiding" didn't include claws >__<
P.S. you're SUCH a great artist!! are you taking suggestions about other tuts? i would love to see an anatomy one, especially arms/legs/feet...i has trouble w/ feet >__<
that would be sooo helpful!! hands and feet have so many possible poses, and these exercises are invaluable to my meager drawing skills ...so, yes, a foot exercise would really be beneficial, at least to me ^__^
P.S. my cat is the female clone of yours ^_^
my cat says hi back ^,^

I've been wanting to make a foot exercise for a while now, maybe I'll do that. It's more about providing references than drawing skill.
Thanks though. I will d/l this when I get back home and start on more hands!
